HEALTH: Living With Migrains

Migraines are something that we have revolved our lives around since I meet my husband, he suffers with debilitating migraines that can put him out of action for days at a time.

I personally have only had one migraine in the last 4 years and I can tell you first hand it was no walk in the park, I was on. Trip home in a coach, I saw flashing lights my vision was blurry and I began to feel so so sick, it took everyone for me to not be sick on that coach. I went home and straight to bed in a dark room. I honestly felt like I was having my head crushed in a vice. I consider myself lucky as I get them so rarely, unlike my husband who suffers with them at least 15 times a month.

It’s really hard to watch him suffer knowing I can’t do anything to help, he has been told to take sumatriptan, they are a quick and effective way to treat migraines and since he has been taking them they have significantly reduced. They can be brought online here at the independent pharmacy, who will give you a free consultation before you buy them to ensure they are safe and suitable for you to take.

Always seek medical advice before starting any medication.

How do you treat migraines?

Are you lucky enough to not have them ?

  5. I’ve only had a few in my life thankfully and I find I just need to lie in a dark room and drink a lot of water. Once I’ve been sick and slept I start to feel a bit better.

  9. What a terrible affliction a migraine is. I really have to sympathise with what your husband goes through (and yourself ocassionally) I suffered with migraines as a teenager and I remember the pain, sickness, eyes screaming at the least amount of light. I was so pleased when I grew out of them.
I hope the medication really starts to work for him and he gets even more relief xx
